My Story
I had a different career before choosing the path to become a therapist. I received my bachelors degree from Rollins College in studio art with a minor in writing. During this time in my life I enjoyed sculpting and immersed myself in art and writing. Following graduation I had a brief career in graphic design. I found myself yearning to connect and make a difference in people's lives and did not get fulfillment from my career. I decided to go back to school. I attended Georgia state University and fulfilled the requirements for a psychology major before applying and beginning my masters in professional counseling. I spent my time graduate school working as a research assistant and focused on suicide and self injurious behaviors.
